Rum City International Classic
No Deposit First Homes are proud to sponsor this years Rum City International Classic. Hosted by the Bundaberg Powerboat Club this fantastic event will take place over two exciting days next month.
Formula powerboat racing is an extreme sport that is both fast and colourful. With explosive starts, hairpin turns, and high speed passing manoeuvres, spectators can guarantee a day of non-stop water action and excitement, suitable for all ages.
‘The timing of the event coincides perfectly with the launch of the No Deposit campaign in Bundaberg’ says No Deposit First Homes director Craig Truslove. Mr Truslove was the Foundation member and National President of the Australian Formula Powerboat Grand Prix. Truslove still races a F1 powerboat on the Australian circuit. He currently holds the Australian record for the fastest outboard to complete the prestigious Sydney Bridge to Bridge Powerboat Race, averaging over 220kph over the 110 km course, completing the race in just over 32 minutes.
